Part of the old-school crew, I met Crystal 17(ish) years ago with Jena, and the three of us have stayed close ever since. We always pick up where we left off no matter how much time has passed. She is present, always making me feel seen and heard, so funny it hurts, and and has style for days

The queen of more! Blake says yes to life and is a ride or die kind of girl. She shines at bringing people together through food, wine, and of course dance parties! The last 5 or 6 years have been full of laughter and love with this one. She is the sparkly glue of our Santa Fe familia

I met this goofball in a musical theater production of Into the Woods when we were teens. We've gone through so much life together, and have had each-other's backs through the shenanigans the universe has thrown at us. Jena is fierce and fun all at once. She knows who she is and doesn't apologize for it #goals

A gentle soul with big energy, Joesph once said he wanted to add more beauty to the world, and he wasn't joking. From landscape architecture, jewelry design, and love of fashion, to most importantly, his giant open heart and compassion for others, this man raises the frequency of every room he's in 

 Kevin is Matt’s oldest friend, born the same summer on the same cu-du-sac, thus forming one of the rarest types of friendships seen in the wild, “Diaper Buddies.” Through the years, no matter where either one moves, they have repeatedly found themselves living nearby: Minneapolis as children, Fargo/Omaha during college, NYC in their early 20’s, Minneapolis in their late 20’s/early 30’s, Santa Fe/Denver in their late 30’s/early 40’s. 

Matt met John early in his courtship with Thalia.  He and his wife Blake joined them on their third date to help Thalia decide if this new suitor could hang with her friends, a very important factor in her assessment of his potential.  Thankfully for Matt, he passed the test and a tremendous friendship has ensued.  Listening to John’s DJ performances over the last several years has taught Matt how to dance freely and joyfully, the most incredible gift. Matt and Thalia are thrilled to be able to share this gift with their wedding guests, who will get to enjoy one of his famous DJ sets with us at the reception. 

Jim and Matt also met in Puerto Vallarta, but didn’t become close until Jim moved back to Santa Fe from NYC during Covid and started DJ’ing amazing music with John every Thursday night for our small quarantine bubble family.  He and Matt bonded over their mutual obsessions with the experience of playing music on vinyl and geeking out over the qualities and origins of great wines, but they truly became close when they recognized in each other that rare sort of open hearted, direct and loyal energy towards close friends.
